This study aims to explore how people perceive relationships between short music excerpts, and how these perceptions compare with computational assessments derived from audio analysis tools.
In this experiment, you will listen to short music excerpts (about 10 seconds) and compare them across five musical attributes: melody, harmony, rhythm, voice, and timbre. There is no fixed number of evaluations. You can evaluate as many as you want. Each evaluation takes about 1 minute. After completing at least 10 evaluations, you will have the option to enter a draw for one €25 voucher (4 available).
This experiment is part of the TRAMUCA project, which entails a collaboration between Universitat Pompeu Fabra, the Joint Research Centre (European Commission) and Sony AI. The study has been reviewed and approved by the Institutional Committee for Ethical Review of Projects (CIREP) of Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
